Expert Committees
The Commission constitutes Expert Committees for dealing with such special
issues as may be taken up by the Commission from time to time.
The Expert Committees established so far are for:-

Expert Committee meeting on 'Women in Industry' was held on 13th June, 2003.
- During the discussions the following decisions were taken:
- A core committee would be constituted for studying the data regarding
loans/advances by the banks to the women
entrepreneurs, the census being carried out by DCSSI and data available
with CII
- If needed a specialised agency would be engaged for evolving a questionnaire
and collection of the data so
obtained.
- Introduction of Special Credit Cards for women entrepreneurs may be
encouraged
- Government may consider reservation of some products exclusively for purchase
from women run enterprises
