Section 32 ( 1 ) of the Act regarding production of a child before the Child Welfare Committee.

Section 33 ( 1 ) of the Act regarding inquiry about a child.

Sub -section 4) and 6) of the Section 41 of the Act regarding adoption. Section 56 of the Act regarding authorities competent to discharge and transfer a Juvenile or a child from one Children's Home to antoher.

Section 59 ( 2 ) regarding leave of absence to nay Juvenile or the child, on special occasions like examination, marriage of relatives, death of kith and kin or the serious illness of parent or any emergency of like nature.

Suggested Amendments supported by NCW

Section 32: 1) After sub-section 1) of section 32 of Act, the following proviso shall be added viz 'Provided that the Child shall be produced before the Committee without any loss of time but within a period of 24 / 48 hours of child coming to notice excluding the journey time'. 2) In sub-section 1) (i) of Section 32, the words 'any police officer' shall be deleted.

Section 33: In sub-section 1) of section 33, the words 'or any police officer' occurring after the words 'the Committee', shall be deleted.

Section 56: In Section 56 of the Act, the words, 'or the local authority' occurring after the words, 'the competent authority' shall be deleted.

Section 57: 1) Also the words 'or the local authority' occurring after 'the State Government' in Section 57 of the Act, shall be deleted.

Section 59: In Sib-section 2) of Section 59, of the words, 'for maximum seven days' shall be replaced by the words, 'for a period generally not exceeding seven days'.
