Suggested Amendments by NCW

1. Amendment in Section 1 ( i ) ( b ) of the Act so as to make the section applicable to all the minors irrespective of whether the minor is female or male.

2. Section 21 of Act, the competence of a minor to act as guardian in some circumstances should also be extended to females as well as males.

3. Under Section 41 of the Ct, cessation of authority should be expanded in its scope to cover females as well as males.
